Among the chieftains was Maloji, who was designed a raja in 1595; the districts of Pune and Supa got to him as a jagir (fief). Maloji was also presented charge in the forts at Shivneri and Chakan, which performed a crucial position from the district's early political heritage.[eighteen] With the institution of Nizamshahi rule, with Ahmednagar it
